Breach is a free online brick breaker with hidden power-ups, multiball, and a few stubborn walls. Play in your browser on mobile or desktop, with no download or signup. Three lives, no time limit. Break through at your pace, then challenge a friend on the same board.

How to play Breach

• Launch: move your paddle into position, then tap or click to shoot straight up. The dotted guide shows the shot; dragging alone does not launch. Earlier challenges retain their gap-directed launch.
• Steer: drag your finger or move your mouse across the playfield. Catch near the paddle's edge to change the rebound angle.
• Break through: send the ball through the gap and clear the violet bricks. Each brick earns 10 points; grey walls cannot be broken.
• Catch drops: move your paddle under falling gems to collect them. Their powers stay hidden until the brick breaks.
• Keep a ball in play: you lose one of your three lives only when every active ball falls. Tap to launch again. Clear the board to win.
• Keyboard: Left / Right or A / D moves the paddle; Space / Enter launches.

Hidden gems and power-ups

• Star · most common: adds 100 points when caught.
• Triple-ball · uncommon: triples every active ball, up to 27, for 15 seconds. One surviving ball remains when the timer ends.
• Wide paddle · uncommon: gives you more catching room for 8 seconds.
• Short paddle · rare: the coral triangle with a minus sign shrinks your paddle for 6 seconds. Dodge it if you don't want the extra challenge.
• Floor shield · very rare: turns the bottom edge into a bouncy safety net for 8 seconds.

Catching the same timed power again refreshes its timer. Wide and short paddle powers replace each other rather than stacking.

Leaving the tab pauses the game; tap to continue when you return. Use the speaker to mute the impact sounds. Retry the board or start fresh after finishing. Shared scores are friendly challenges, not verified records.
